He currently resides in Shallowater with his wife, Kendell. He started with the company in 2020 and has over 15 years of management experience in various industries. Jay enjoys watching everyone around him succeed in their roles and brings a positive attitude every day. Outside of work, you can catch Jay cheering on the Red Raiders and petting every dog that comes across his path.

Behind the Scenes
Ashton Walden, Owner
Ashton started Ashton Walden Turf Services in 1997. Having been raised in the Lubbock area, Ashton developed a strong work ethic through his family, who worked in the farming and feedlot industries. Ashton is married to Whitney, who is also a Lubbock native, and together they have one son, Weston. While attending Texas Tech, Ashton started his lawn care operation with a partner who went on to work on exclusive country clubs in the Northeast. Over the years, Ashton found a common frustration with customers concerning other lawn care companies – CUSTOMER SERVICE. It is incredible what just answering your phone does.
Doug Glenn, Lawn Specialist
Doug grew up in Plainview, Texas. After high school, Doug went on to the Golf Academy of America. After graduating, he worked in the golf industry as a professional for nine years. Doug and his wife, Crystal, moved back to Lubbock with their three boys to be closer to family. Doug is a tremendous asset to Ashton Walden Turf Services and is Ashton’s right-hand man when it comes to taking care of customers. He is currently studying at the University of Georgia to become a Certified Lawn Care Manager.
